To address these challenges, Shimizu Corporation piloted the digitization of equipment commissioning forms using “S+Report” at the Nagoya Marunouchi 1-Chome Project.
The trial demonstrated productivity gains for all stakeholders—Shimizu employees, subcontractors, and clients—prompting the system’s full-scale implementation.

• Test records, previously managed via paper, PDF, or Excel, are now cloud-based, enabling simultaneous editing across multiple devices.
• Because the digital forms retain the original specified layout, records can be finalized on-site, completely eliminating the need for manual transcription.
• Forms can be pre-filled with testing prerequisites, such as inspection targets and room names.
• This significantly reduces the need for manual input during inspections.

(2) Real-Time Corrective Reporting and Operational Efficiency

• Simultaneous work processes ensure timely corrective reporting and confirmation.
• Equipment Partner Companies can efficiently correct Punch List items after inspection, making it possible to complete the confirmation of corrective work on the same day. This reduces the output of corrective documents.
• Furthermore, it contributes to reducing the number of site visits required for post-inspection corrective work confirmation.

(3) Substantial Reduction in Overtime During Pre-Completion Phase

• By reducing on-site waiting time and document creation time, the system contributes to a significant reduction in overtime hours for Equipment Partner Companies.
• It eliminates the need for Shimizu Corporation staff to consolidate corrective documents from electrical, sanitary, and HVAC contractors, thereby reducing workload and overtime during the busy pre-completion period.

• The ability to confirm corrective work for minor Punch List items on the same day as the inspection was positively received by the client.
